Pizza for one anyone? Toast your favorite bagel and top with a Dr. Praeger’s Veggie Burger, pizza sauce and cheese for a quick and delicious snack.
- 2 Dr. Praeger’s California Veggie Burgers
- 2 everything bagels
- 1 tomato (cut into 4 thick slices)
- ¼ cup mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup tomato sauce
- ¼ cup basil (shredded)
Time: 15 Minutes
- Preheat oven / toaster oven to bake at 450°F. Place burgers on a baking pan. Bake approximately 7 minutes until browned. Carefully flip and bake an additional 3 minutes, until heated through. Transfer to cutting board and roughly chop each burger into 4-6 pieces.
- Slices bagels in half and assemble by adding tomato sauce, tomatoes, burger pieces, cheese and basil. Return to oven or toaster oven and continue to cook for 5-7 minutes until cheese is bubbly.
