Eat “Heart Smart” Bowl
For National Wear Red Day, we’re sporting a Dr. Praeger’s Sweet Heat Beet Veggie Burger on a bed of leafy greens with extra virgin olive oil, avocado, walnuts, and beets!
2 cups loosely packed leafy greens
1 large cooked beet, sliced
1/2 avocado, sliced
1/4 cup raw walnuts
1/4 cup cooked chickpeas
2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar or lemon juice
sea salt and freshly cracked black pepper
- Cook Dr. Praeger’s Sweet Heat Beet Veggie Burger according to package instructions. Cool slightly.
- Arrange greens, sliced beet, avocado, walnuts and chickpeas in a large salad bowl.
- Add the cooked veggie burger, and drizzle with oil, vinegar, salt and pepper.
- Enjoy immediately!
