Little Bites with a Big Following
C’mon! Getting kids to eat vegetables is easy, right? Well…we’ve heard mixed reports on that, but we believe if it doesn’t taste good, kids won’t eat it. Our Kids items are especially created to make it easier for parents to introduce vegetables (move over french fries!).
Our Kids products come in a variety of fun, attention-getting shapes, featuring nutritious wild-caught fish, not-so-hidden veggies, and peanut-free sammies. They’re easy to make, and bursting with flavor. Everything is crafted to taste great, even to the most sensitive of taste buds, earning a loyal following from tots in high chairs to teens at tables (adults eat them too!).
Creating Lifetime Habits – Our goal is to inspire a lifetime of healthy eating. Here are some other ways to encourage kiddos to explore what is on their plates.
Get Adventurous- Encourage a love of healthy foods by allowing your little ones to literally play with their food; feeling the texture, naming the color, and describing the taste. Inspire them to explore all of their senses at the table.
Find Balance – Consider what is on their plate to make sure it includes well-balanced nutrition. Does it follow USDA guidelines for portion sizes and variety? That’s a good place to start.
Eat the Rainbow – Pick a color theme of the week. Get as many fruits and veggies of that color as you can find, then let the whole family taste them all. Add favorites to your regular shopping list. And don’t give up! Try them again in a month or so – palettes change!
