Keep frozen prior to use. For food safety, must be fully cooked to an internal temperature of 165°F. Do not leave appliances unattended as cooking times may vary. Product will be lightly brown with some pink when cooked.
Cook from Thawed
Thaw in refrigerator and use within 48 hours of defrosting, or thaw in microwave and use at once. Use in any recipe that calls for ground meat.
Cook from Frozen in Skillet / Stovetop
Preheat non-stick pan over medium-low heat. Place square in pan and cook for 4 minutes. Flip and cook for an additional 4 minutes. Break apart to desired piece size. Raise heat to medium. Cook for approximately 12 more minutes, stirring frequently.
